Hard Armour

Hard armour plates are designed to increase the level of protection to existing body armour and are inserted into pockets of the carrier. They are manufactured using a variety of different materials and in different combinations to cater to customer budgets and weight constraints. The following table lists the threat level provided by the armour plate and any additional protection from specific threats as tested by Ballistic Edge Research Laboratories.
